I’m Tammie McKenzie. A PEO expert, and a licensed insurance agent, serving the PEO industry since 2003 where I began my career with one of the largest white collar PEOs in the industry. This provided me the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and learn the ins and outs of a complex industry. Early in my career, I quickly realized, not all PEO’s are the same. Every PEO in the industry has its own plethora of qualification criteria and types of services they provide, making it difficult for businesses to know which PEO could service and insure their business, manage their risk and understand their culture. The results for businesses who are not a good fit for a specific PEO can be weeks or months of wasted effort and frustration.
The longer I worked in the PEO industry, the more dedicated I became to making this process simple, and easy. I wanted to help businesses find the best PEO for their needs and educate them with all the details they needed in order to make an informed and knowledgeable decision for their company.

I had the idea of being a consultant for PEO clients since 2007, so on January 10, 2011 I took a leap of faith and decided to pursue my passion to work on my own as a PEO Broker. I spent that afternoon on the phone calling prospects to tell them about my new business and the service I could provide. 2 days, later I had my first client and 30 days later I was blessed with another. Thus the creation of PEO Broker LLC. It was amazing! Those two clients are still with me today and will always be special to me, in a unique way. Without them, I may not be here…I am truly grateful.
Today I have clients from coast to coast. They range from small local companies, to large multi state employers and a variety of industries. Each and every client means more to me than revenue, they are all special people and they have trusted me to guide and advise them with employee benefits, risk services and employer related compliance.

The impact my service offers not only saves the company money, it saves their employees and family members money on health care too. It is truly rewarding. Being able to offer richer health plans at more affordable rates goes way beyond money. It impacts daily lives.
