I’m Tammie McKenzie. I have been serving the PEO industry since 2003. I began my career at ADP Total Source, representing the largest PEO company in the industry. This provided me with the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge and learn the ins and outs of a complex industry. I had observed time and again customers who were denied, simply due to narrow constraints or customer requirements. I learned that all PEOs are not the same. Every PEO has a plethora of qualification criteria which makes it difficult for any business owner or organization to not only choose the right PEO but to also have all the right information to make an informed and knowledgeable decision for their company. This unfortunately was not the exception but the norm. The result for the customer was months of wasted effort and frustration.
I decided it was time to make a difference. I wanted to deliver a solution — to take something complex and make it simple. I wanted to become an invaluable resource to business owners, agents/agencies, and trusted advisors. I wanted to be that “go-to” person when it had to do with a PEO.
In 2011, I started PEO Broker LLC. Our mission was to use our extensive industry knowledge and expertise and be an advocate for our customer. We set out to be known for our knowledge, advice, and transparency. We want to make sure our customers have all the information they need to make the most informed and right decision for their business.
